Methanol Synthesis

The basis for the Silent-Power technology is the liquid fuel methanol M99, an alcohol, which can store energy in a chemical form. Fully synthetic methanol is produced from clean electricity originating from renewable energy sources such as wind power, photovoltaic systems, wave power plants or geothermal energy, as well as from water and the CO2 gas present in the atmosphere. In contrast to the fossil fuels oil, natural gas and coal, these elements are 

available in unlimited quantities and the crystal clear liquid methanol can also be stored and transported for extended periods without signs of decomposition or loss. Methanol is the simplest alcohol molecule. The next more complex is ethanol, the ordinary drinking alcohol. Since methanol is fully synthetic and not produced on agriculturally cultivated farmland, it does not compete with food production.

Independence from oil-producing countries (e.g. Saudi Arabia).
Refitting of diesel / petrol to a methanol infrastructure is simple, quick and inexpensive.

Today’s cargo vessels, depots and petrol stations can be adapted without major effort.

Since methanol is not produced on agriculturally cultivated farmland, it does not compete with food production.

Very user-friendly and easy to handle.
Hazardous additives such as benzene are no longer necessary.

Benzene is a hazardous product mixed with petrol and diesel to improve the combustion process.

Methanol is the second most traded liquid

(after crude oil).

High conversion efficiency of M99® methanol into electricity.
A methanol economy is very cost-effective, as it only requires a single type of fuel for all conceivable applications: driving, flying, etc.

(Driving, flying, powering ships, heating, cooking, operation of construction machines, lawn mowers, motorcycles, etc.).

No secondary costs for society: absolutely non-toxic combustion products (only CO2 and water), no catalytic converters necessary, no acid rain, no flue stacks.
